On this tour we combine the fun and frolic of Nevada's gaming communities with visits to the region's natural and man-made wonders such as Zion National Park and the Hoover Dam. There will be plenty of time to take advantage of twenty-four hour night life and abundant shopping opportunities. Nevada is full of contrasts and this tour allows you to enjoy them all.




ITINERARY

Depart from Victoria for Pendleton - October 13, Monday
Depart this morning for Washington and Oregon. Enroute, get to know your tour mates and enjoy an included lunch at the King's Table Restaurant. Then sit back and relax as you travel through the Cascade Mountains to your overnight accommodation at the Red Lion Inn in Pendleton.

Pendleton to Winnemucca - October 14, Tuesday
Explore new territory on your way today. You'll see Central Oregon from north to south and cross the stateline into Nevada for a stay in the heart of Cowboy Country in Winnemucca.

Winnemucca to Reno - October 15, Wednesday
A short travelling day brings you to Reno, The Biggest Little City in the World. Get settled in and enjoy the town!

Reno - October 16, Thursday
Try your hand with Lady Luck in Reno's glittery casinos or spend the day as you wish in this friendly little city. An excursion to the historical treasure of Virginia City gives you the opportunity to stroll the boardwalks of this once thriving boomtown. Refresh yourself at the saloons that line "C" Street, and learn more about the colourful history of the area.

Reno to Las Vegas - October 17, Friday
Sit back and relax as the tour continues to Las Vegas. One of the world's largest hotel casinos, the fabulous Excalibur, provides accommodation right in the heart of the city. You are on Las Vegas Boulevard, near to restaurants, night clubs, and casinos.

Las Vegas - October 18, Saturday
A full day to explore Las Vegas, the Excalibur and The Strip with its many new attractions.

Las Vegas to Laughlin - October 19, Sunday
See the impressive Hoover Dam and Lake Mead as we follow the Colorado River to Laughlin, Nevada's newest gambling mecca. The casinos, restaurants, entertainment, and excitement of Laughlin are yours to enjoy.

Laughlin to Mesquite - October 20, Monday
The Oasis Resort in Mesquite, Nevada is today's destination. Amenities include outdoor pools, restaurants and casino. On the way, marvel at the beauty of Valley of Fire State Park.

Mesquite - October 21, Tuesday
A not-to-be-missed opportunity to view the spectacular scenery and rock formations of Utah's Zion Canyon National Park. Bring your cameras!

Mesquite to Elko - October 22, Wednesday
Heading north, the route takes you through the high desert of Nevada. There is time for lunch in the historic mining town of Ely before going on to Elko for a comfortable overnight stay.

Elko to Pendleton - October 23, Thursday
From Nevada to Idaho to Oregon, you are on your homeward journey.

Pendleton to Victoria - October 24, Friday
An early start to the day allows time for a lunch break in the Seattle area and a stop at the duty free store at the border. In the meantime, say farewell and share happy memories with new friends. We look forward to seeing you on the road again soon!
